Orthopaedic Practice seeks to add a full-time PA or NP to work directly with a General Orthopaedic Surgeon.  Procedures performed include: arthroscopic surgery, shoulder and knees, total joints, fracture care and athletic injury.  The new PA/NP would eventually run an Orthopaedic Clinic.  The PA/NP would spend one to two days in the OR performing first assist. 

Responsibilities include: H&P's, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist, review lab results, cortisone injections, treat basic fractures, hospital rounds, casting and splinting within a clinic setting.  Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.  There is no call coverage and there is some weekend rounding.  The practice will train a bright and hard working new graduate.  They would prefer candidates that have ties to the upstate New York area.  The location is near the Albany area.  The new PA/NP will enjoy year round outdoor living, reasonable cost of living and all the amenities of a great area!

The Department of Physician Assistant Studies at Marquette University is seeking a full-time faculty member to begin immediately. The position responsibilities will primarily be classroom teaching.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of clinical practice in a medical or surgical subspecialty. Preference would be given to candidates whose experiences are current from 2002 – present. Applicants who have additional clinical skills in another health profession (PharmD, RN, EMT, etc.) may be given preference. 
Qualifications: Graduation from an ARC-PA accredited PA program, current national certification and eligibility for Wisconsin license. Previous teaching experience is desirable but not required. Superior knowledge of computers and Microsoft office as well as PDA uses in clinical practice are also highly desirable.

DESCRIPTION
We have an immediate opening in our Allied Health Department for a Night Trauma Physician Assistant to cover our Methodist Hospital ER Call in Indianapolis, Indiana.  The schedule for this position alternates between one 24 hour-week followed by one 56 hour week.  This position will assist the On Call Neurosurgeon with ER Triage, Rounds, Patient Medical Records, and will Triage Patient and Staff calls.

QUALIFICATIONS
Qualified applicants must be eligible for an Indiana License with Prescriptive Authority and be Board Certified. One year of previous critical care experience preferred but not required. Motivated applicants who are able to work well under pressure in the fast paced trauma setting will be most successful in this position.
