Job Description Large and well-established Oncology Group seeks a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner.  The new PA/NP will work out of a state-of-the-art Cancer Center.  There is minimal or no call coverage.  Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified.  The group's preference is for experienced candidates that have at-least two years of experience!  They would prefer local candidates and must have ties to the area.

The new PA/NP will be employed by the Oncology Group and will have a very strong benefits package.  The position is located in an upscale Tulsa suburb.  Tulsa is very similar to Austin and has a one million population and offers several major universities.  The area offers a great life style, low cost of living, and an excellent education system.  Salary depends on experience.  The work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (weekdays).  Please send your resume to the attention of  Fred Perlman at: e.perlman@gte.net

This full-time position entails providing medical care for HIV+ patients in Abilene area, plus some administrative duties.  The PA works under the supervision of a contract physician who visits the clinic two times per month.  Training in HIV is available, if needed, and paid malpractice insurance is provided.  Four-day work week (M-TH)8:00-5:30, with excellent salary and full benefits, including retirement, medical, dental, and vision coverage.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduation from an accredited Physician’s Assistant program and current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants. Or graduate of an accredited school of nursing and approved Nurse Practitioner program and current RN license with ANA certification.  Minimum five years of experience in a medical clinic or hospital is preferred.  Proven communication skills  (verbal, written, and phone), calculator and PC (spreadsheet and word processing software) skills are essential.

This provider will be working with a FT Wellness Assistant/Administrative Assistant in a corporate health setting. The salary can be between $85,000-$90,000 with $1500 and 5 days for CMEs. The hours are daytime hours Monday-Friday.  The candidate will need to be someone who has strong a clinical background, preferably experience in Emergency Room setting or episodic care. They also need to be confident and able to speak to large groups (1100 company employees) and excited about wellness. The site is a brand new Wellness Center, so needs to also be great at building relationships and using their leadership skills to make the site a success in conjunction with our vendors.
