Small Houston Texas Emergency Medicine group is seeking a PA to work a day shift (M-F) in a moderate volume setting. Seeking an experienced provider who is both ACLS and ATLS certified. Need to be able to handle suturing, lacerations, codes and manage high acuity patients with no supervision. Volume is growing. Base salary will be $85k plus an incentive package $75% of admission revenue for any admits you do........ easily worth an extra $25-30k per year. This puts the total cash value of the package between $110-115k.....with full benefits. Not bad for a 40 hour week!!! Package can be modified to yield a higher base ($104k) with less incentives (50% of admission revenue).Optional but not required is the opportunity to take ER call for additional money and incentives. For a moderate amount of call you can easily generate another $15k This postion also includes full benefit 5 weeks vacation (counting CME) and expense allowance, malpractice and health insurance.  So, this package has a cash value minimum of  $110-115k and a potential of  $150k+.  One of the M-L providers is earning $200k. Will pay for relocation if you are out of the area. What are you waiting for???

Description 
The Department of Physician Assistant Education, School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM), Stony Brook University, is recruiting for a full-time position of Assistant Director of the PA Post-Professional Masters Program at the clinical assistant professor fank. Primary responsibilities will include coordination and development of activities at the SBU Manhattan Campus including faculty recruitment, admissions, teaching and evaluation of students.

Criteria:

Graduate of an accredited PA Program 
Three years patient care experience 
Masters Degree preferred 
Prior teaching experience in a college/university setting preferred 
Salary to be commensurate with education/experience.

The position consists of 70% office and 30% surgical first assist.  Cases will focus on total joint and sports.  The new PA will be able to run their own clinic at a satellite location!  The majority of responsibilities include: evaluations of injury, cortisone and sin-visc injections, removing casts and pins, casting and splinting, writing scripts, patient education, ordering and reviewing lab results.  Preferred candidate should be NCCPA-certified, and have Ortho PA experience.  The candidate should be able to function on their own and also be a team player.
