The Department of Medicine of Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC is seeking qualified full-time Physician Assistants (PA) to provide care for hospitalized patients on the inpatient Medical Service under the direction of hospitalist physicians. Responsibilities include taking histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests and x-rays, and treating common inpatient conditions. In addition, PAs may be trained in the evaluation and triage of patients admitted to the medical service so that patients are placed on the appropriate medical wards.

ALL EMERGENCIES ARE SENT OUT TO A NEARBY HOSPITAL WHERE HOSPITALISTS HAVE AGREED TO ACCEPT OUR PATIENTS.  WE ARE THE ONLY CLINIC IN A SMALL COMMUNITY SO WE HAVE AN APPRECIATIVE PATIENT BASE. THERE IS NO CALL AND NO WEEKEND DUTY.

Noah's Ark Pediatrics is looking for a Bilingual Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist our Pediatrician in our Glendale Clinc. 

Provides assistance and support to physician and other medical providers in assessing, planning and providing patient care.  Requires appropriate state licensing. 

1.  Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations on assigned patients, assesses     and treats acute/chronic medical problems and provides direct patient care. 
2.  Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. 
3.  Supervises and coordinates the activities of patient care. 
4.  Writes progress notes on patients' charts indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed. 
5.  Provides health education to patients and families. 
6.  Performs emergent life saving procedures in cases such as cardiac/respiratory arrest, massive hemorrhage, or similar emergencies. 
7.  Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops. 

Skills/Requirements 
Active Arizona RN/NP or PA License will be required. 
Certified in Basic Life Support 
Strong patient relationship skills 
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment. 
Ability to effectively mentor and provide guidance to lower lever staff 
Ability to maintain highly confidential information. 
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
