SOUTH DAKOTA (Sioux Falls) Ortho Well-established Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks a full-time Physician Assistant. This Physician has a very busy practice and sees general, total joints, fractures and sports cases. He is located in a modern office environment. This position will be equally split between the OR and the Clinic. Responsibilities include: handling reductions of fractures, joint aspirations, injections, evaluation of injuries, follow-up with patients, hospital rounds, writing scripts, and coordinating with PT/ATC. The new PA will eventually do evaluations and pre-op H&P's, as well as run their own clinic. Call coverage is three to four times per month. The hours vary, but average to about 50 hours per week. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified/eligible, highly motivated and work well in a team environment. New graduates with orthopaedic rotations are welcome to apply! This group will consider an experienced PA from any surgical area. Sioux Falls location has a population of 100k, and with the surrounding counties the area is 150k. It has universities, local airport, excellent schools and low cost of living. Salary for a new PA is $70k to $75k plus+ (open for experience), plus paid call and production bonus.
