Full time, Part time or locums position(s) for Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants working alongside an Emergency
Physician in Green Bay, WI.

Job description:  We are looking for one or more NP's or PA's to work full time, part time, or locums in our emergency department.  We see roughly 26,000 patients annually.  Midlevel shifts are 8 am to 4 pm, 12 noon to 8 pm and 4 pm to midnight daily.  The midlevels will do self-scheduling with preferences worked out amongst themselves.  Weekends and holidays are to be equally and equitably divided.  We see a lot of patients who present with chest and/or abdominal pain, orthopedic injuries, URI's/ear infections, and pediatrics.  We see very little major trauma.  We do an occasional medical clearance for psychiatric admission.  We would like candidates to have at least 3-5 years of experience working in an emergency department setting.

Location:  The job is located in Green Bay proper.  The public school systems in and around Green Bay are fantastic.  Crime rates are low, and
people still thank you for your services when they leave our department.  We are also looking into expanding our corporation to include a couple of rural ED's, one of which is staffed with midlevels only.

Compensation:  $50/hour with a production bonus based on RVU's generated during each shift.  Paid medical/dental benefits depending on full time or part time status, 401(k) with a safe harbor match for those working 1000 hours or more, paid malpractice, paid vacation, paid CME for full timers.

Provides assistance and support to physician and other medical providers in assessing, planning and providing patient care.  Requires appropriate state licensing.

1.  Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations on assigned patients, assesses and treats acute/chronic medical problems and provides direct patient care.
2.  Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods.
3.  Supervises and coordinates the activities of patient care.
4.  Writes progress notes on patients' charts indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed.
5.  Provides health education to patients and families.
6.  Performs emergent life saving procedures in cases such as cardiac/respiratory arrest, massive hemorrhage, or similar emergencies.
7.  Enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings, and workshops.

Skills/Requirements
Active Arizona RN/NP or PA License will be required.
Certified in Basic Life Support
Strong patient relationship skills
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment. 
Ability to effectively mentor and provide guidance to lower lever staff
Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
Good written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.

Important notes: We are located on the West side of the Phoenix Metropolitan area.  Our patients are primarily Spanish speaking families.  We are seeking a bilingual Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant who wishes to work in an upbeat environment with a dedication to educating and caring for our patients.  This can be a part-time/full-time position.  We offer a competitive salary.  Our benefits include 13 days paid time off, and seven holidays.  Health insurance is provided.

Orthopaedic Surgeon seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant.  The new PA will work directly with a General Orthopaedic Surgeon.  The group has physical therapy on-site.  The PA would run their own orthopaedic clinic.  The new PA would see up to 30 to 40 patients per day.  The new candidate needs to be a self-starter that can hit the ground running!  This PA must be able to work with minimal physician supervision.  This position is clinic based with minimal or no surgery.  The position is a 40 hour work week.

. Responsibilities include:  H&P's, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, review lab results, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, casting and splinting within a clinic setting.  Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.  None or very minimal evenings or weekends.  Previous orthopaedic PA experience required!  Preference for candidates that have ties to the area!  The location is in a beautiful area that is in an upscale suburb of Phoenix.  The new PA can enjoy year round outdoor living, solid schools and all the amenities of a great city.
