Orthopaedic Specialty Group seeks to add a fulltime Physician Assistant to their team.  The position will work directly with a General Orthopaedic Surgeon with a Sports Fellowship.  This Doctor handles a strong volume of sports, spine, knees, shoulders, and some fractures cases.  He also handles some local high school sports teams. 

The position will consists of mostly Office based with up to one day in the OR.  Responsibilities include: evaluation of injuries, injections, aspirations, reductions, pre and post H&P's, surgical first assist, patient education, writing scripts, ordering and reviewing tests.  The new PA will run a full clinic!  The position averages 40 to 50 hours per week and has minimal call and weekends.

Successful candidate should have a minimum of one year Ortho PA experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment.  Sorry, no new PA graduates will be considered!   Candidates should have ties to the area!  The location is a beautiful suburban Charlotte community.  The area affords reasonable cost of living, solid school systems, great all season weather and an excellent place to raise a family.  Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.  Please send your resume to the attention of Fred Perlman at: e.perlman@gte.net
