The Arcadia University Physician Assistant Program is now accepting applications for the position of Clinical Coordinator. This faculty member will staff the new satellite program to be based in Christiana, Delaware. The first class for this site will enter in May, 2007. These faculty members will work in collaboration with the Program Director and other Program faculty to ensure quality instruction in both the academic and clinical phases of the Program. This position involves a combination of scheduling and coordination of  lectures, clinical rotations, classroom teaching, clinical lab instruction, clinical site visits, program development, research and the opportunity for clinical practice. 

Arcadia University, located in suburban Philadelphia is currently celebrating its 153rd anniversary.  For the seventh consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has placed Arcadia in the top tier among Regional Universities in the North. The Arcadia PA Program started in 1996 as a Master’s level program. The Program offers 2-year and 3-year tracks with an option for a dual degree in Public Health or Health Education. Arcadia University is widely recognized as a leader in international studies, with students in the PA Program having completed rotations in 15 different countries. Graduates have consistently excelled on their national board examinations, scoring among the top ten percent of programs in the country. There is extensive use of technology in the Program with the incorporation of a wireless Internet system and all students receiving a laptop computer. 

The successful candidate will have current PA national certification and an earned master's degree; a doctoral degree or the willingness to pursue one is preferred. In addition, a combination of five years of clinical and/or teaching experience is also required. These are full-time, 12- month faculty positions with salary and rank commensurate with qualifications. Job Description Large and well-established Orthopaedic Group seeks full-time Physician Assistant.  This position replaces a PA that is relocating out of the region.  The new PA will provide a mix of surgical first assist (up to 20% in the OR), patient evaluation and education, rounding, fracture reductions, injections, consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting.  Call is 1/7 or 2/7.  Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified.  Previous orthopaedic experience preferred!  Prefer candidate that has ties to the region.

Requirements: Graduate of an approved Physician’s Assistant Program or equivalent. Licensed Physician’s Assistant by the Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance. Must have completed CPR Healthcare Provider or CPR for the Professional Rescuer course.

Physician Assistant (Rubin Institute for Advanced Ortho.) RIAO Limb Lengthening FPP 

Graduate of Approved/Certified Program 
Under the direction and supervision of an attending physician, performs a variety of clinical duties and technical procedures to assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients.

Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Maryland CDS License, NCCPA Certification, Maryland PA License, DEA License, CPR Certification; Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, Cerner, Synquest, Standard Office Equipment, Medical terminology, Critical thinking skills, Medical equipment. Physician Assistant Surgery

Bachelor's Degree is required

Physician Assistant Bariatric Surgery

Under the direction and supervision of an attending physician, performs a variety of clinical duties and technical procedures to assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. 

Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Block Grant-Addictions Recovery Program - 

Bachelor's Degree is required 
Under the direction and supervision of an attending physician, performs a variety of clinical duties and technical procedures to assist in the delivery of healthcare services to patients. 

Requirements: Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree; working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field. Physician assistant or Nurse Practitioner; CPR Certification; Maryland CDS License; NCCPA Certification; Maryland PA License; DEA License; Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office Suite; Cerner; Synquest; Standard Office Equipment; Medical terminology; Critical thinking skills; Medical equipment. Requirements: Seasoned professional knowledge; equivalent to a Master's degree; knowledge in more than one discipline; CAAHEP approved Physician Assistant program. Maryland CDS License, NCCPA Certificate, Maryland PA License, ACLS/BCLS Certification. Acute Care Inpatient experience preferred. Hospital clinical information systems, Basic computer skills, Wide variety of technical medical equipment. One to three years of experience.

Physician Assistant House Staff 

Master's degree is required
