The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital/duPont Children's Health Program seeks Nurse Educator for our growing pediatric endocrinology practice. The pediatric practice includes children, ages newborn to 18 years, with endocrine disorders such as growth failure, thyroid disease, diabetes mellitus, and precocious puberty. Responsible for patient evaluation and counseling and for providing direct and indirect care to patients and their families in an outpatient clinical setting. 

Three years of related clinical experience and PA license required. Must be RN, APN or Physician Assistant. Certification as a Diabetes Educator required or eligible. Experience with children with diabetes helpful.

Philadelphia University 

Philadelphia Universitys School of Science and Health invites applications for a full-time assistant/associate professor in its Physician Assistant Program. This is a 12-month renewable, non-tenure track position. 

The responsibilities of this faculty position include course coordination, lecturing, lab and seminar instruction, student recruitment, admissions activities, clinical, committee participation, student advising, quality-assessment activities, and other administrative duties. This faculty member will have additional responsibilities involving clinical coordination. This would include assisting the clinical coordinator with clinical-site development, student assignment, coordination of clinical faculty, student site visitation, interfacing with clinical preceptors, student advising, and general supervision of the learning experience at clinical sites.

Candidates must possess a masters degree and NCCPA certification. Candidates must also have strong written and oral communication skills, advanced computer skills, the ability to work well in a team environment and be highly organized. Clinical experience in surgery, orthopedics, internal/primary care medicine or emergency medicine would be preferred. Prior teaching or lecturing experience is highly desirable.
