Single Specialty Group of Orthopaedic Surgeons seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. This group is a high volume orthopaedic practice that handles total joint, sports, general and some trauma. This will be the first PA for the group and will be split between office and the OR. The new Physician Assistant will provide surgical first assist, pre-op and post-op evaluations, write scripts, hospital rounds, handle some call, consultation and patient evaluation and education, ordering and reviewing lab tests. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified. Previous surgical PA experience is a plus, but the group will train a new graduate. Large general and vascular surgical group.Richmond, Virginia Surgical Associates of Richmond We need a full time PA who can help provide daily pre and post operative care to our hospitalized patients. Our surgical group consists of 15 surgeons doing both general and vascular surgery. Applicant would work at the largest (400 bed) hospital campus of the 3 campuses we serve. Daily surgical rounds, evaluation of new consults and ER consults, some bedside procedures would be included in applicants day to day work schedule. This is primarily a hospital based job, employed by the largest private general and vascular surgical group in our community. Our surgical group has a very long history in this community, and is a pre-eminent surgical provider in this area. Level III trauma center. Some previous surgical experience is desirable but not necessary to apply for this position. We can teach you everything you need to know.
