Large and well-respected Orthopaedic Group seeks an Ortho PA to work directly with two Orthopaedic Surgeons with a Sports Fellowship. The new PA will work with high schools, college and professional athletes, as well as the weekend warriors. This position is equally split between the office and the OR. The group has their own MRI and Physical Therapy Center. This is a state-of-the-art facility with EMR and digital x-ray. They also have a bio-mechanical lab and conduct advanced research. The new PA would eventually run an orthopaedic and sports clinic. The new candidate needs to be a self-starter that can hit the ground running! Responsibilities includes: H&P's, patient evaluation and education, refers for diagnostic treatment, first assist, review lab results, write scripts, treat basic fractures, joint injection and aspiration, hospital rounds, call (1/5) within a clinic setting. Successful candidate should be NCCPA-certified and able to work well in a fast-paced environment. Previous Orthopaedic PA experience preferred, but will consider training a PA with any of the following background (surgical Tech., PT, ASC, Orthopaedic or Surgical Preceptership)! The location is in a beautiful area of an upscale suburb of Phoenix. The group prefers candidates that have ties to the Phoenix area.
