This opportunity is open to experienced Oncology P.A.s and experienced Oncology Nurse Practitioners. It’s also open to Nurse Practitioner new graduates who have at least 3-5 years of current or very recent experience working in an oncology department or for an oncologist. For this position, you will work dayshift hours, around 40-50 hours a week. You will treat cancer care patients on follow-up visits, and/or triage/treat walk-in patients, see patients on chemo follow-up visits, and/or do hospital rounding. You will also help case manage the care for patients and will therefore be on the phone quite a bit to coordinate various aspects of a patient’s care.
