Behavior Health Consultant (NP)

POSITION SUMMARY: Works with the Clinical Nurse Consultant
(CNC) and Health Educator (HE) staff on day-to-day clinical oversight of
behavioral health program interventions. The BHC assists the team manager
with coaching and mentoring CNCs and HEs involved in the delivery of LifeMasters
Behavioral Health programs. The BHC does not directly mediate or work with
patients, but functions in a coaching and supportive role to empower CNCs
and HEs in the programs.
BHC is responsible for Behavioral Health-related aspects of working
with CNC's and HE's, Clinical Psychiatrist and outside providers, associated
with individual pt care. BHNS is responsible for providing clinical
decision support and input to the Product Team, management and leadership
teams in the call centers in accordance with LifeMasters Behavioral Health
programs.
Serves as Subject Matter Expert to other LifeMasters departments related
to Behavioral Health programs. The BHC supports the
organization's mission, vision, goals and strategies. BHC maintains
confidentiality of all privileged information.
EDUCATION:
* Required: either a Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner program
in Behavioral Health or Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health
Clinical Nurse Specialist program, OR Certification as an ANP or CNS
by either AANP or ANCC
* Current unrestricted license as a registered nurse within the state
employed and the ability to be licensed without restrictions in
other states as business needs require.
