DATE:   Fall 2008
QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum required (1) current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in State of Texas; (2) Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; (3) Master's Degree required, nursing major is preferred; if master's degree is in a discipline other than nursing, a minimum of six semester hours of graduate level nursing courses required.  Minimum three years experience required.  Previous teaching experience in ADN program preferred.  Excellent English communication skills required.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Be responsible for the  supervision of learners in a clinical setting on-campus and off-campus.  Teach an additional six weeks in summer at the direction of the Coordinator/Director.  Perform other duties and responsibilities required of all full-time faculty members as outlined in the Angelina College Policies and Procedures Manual.

CONTRACT & SALARY: Nine month contract position as described in the Angelina College Policies and Procedures Manual. Competitive salary based on Angelina College Salary Schedule beginning at $39,180 in addition to excellent employee benefits. Proof of identity and eligibility to work in the United States must be verified for successful candidate.

Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (prior to Feb 2005). Graduate of Master's level Nurse Practitioner program and national certification as Nurse Practitioner required as of and after graduation Feb 2005. Preferred one year of experience in the clinical specialty. Previous experience in cardiac heart failure a definite plus.
