Responsible for providing primary care services in collaboration with Owatonna Clinic physicians, including assessing and managing patients, preventing illness and maintaining competency within all the following areas, as well as having one of those areas as the primary scope of practice; Internal Medicine Urgent patients and Nursing Home patients. 

Other areas may be included based on the needs of the Owatonna Clinic and the Department of Internal Medicine. The incumbent will gain direction and alignment of professional goals and objectives through an assigned physician staff member. The incumbent will meet with the physician staff member they are assigned to no less than once a quarter. The incumbent will have a close working relationship with the Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and Urgent Care Departments. Other interactions are determined by the needs of the provider to maintain his/her scope of practice.

Status: Full time 
Days evenings and weekends 

Qualifications: 
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and approved Nurse Practioner program and current RN license with ANA certification. 

Experience in a medical clinic or hospital with 3 – 5 years experience required.

Job Description Orthopaedic Group seeks to add a full-time Nurse Practitioner.  The group handles general, sports and total joint cases.  Responsibilities will be 100% clinic based.  Call coverage is 1/6.  Specific responsibilities include:  office procedures, H&P's, removing casts and pins, rounds, consultation and patient evaluation and education, reviewing lab results, coordinating with Physical Therapist and writing scripts.
