- coordinate general medical advice to the HR & Safety Depts.

the community, EAP, local physicians and the PBG Healthy Living Program.

Advanced Practice Nurse with Prescriptive Authority
Fremont Counseling Service is a CARF accredited private non-profit community
mental health center which provides outpatient mental health and substance
abuse services to the residents of Fremont County, Wyoming (which includes
the Wind River Indian Reservation) is seeking candidates for a full-time
Advanced Practice Nurse with Prescriptive Authority.
Qualifications: Master's degree in an accredited nursing program
with a specialty in psychiatry/mental health. Must be licensed (or
able to be immediately licensed) in the State of Wyoming, must have prescriptive
authority and qualify for a Drug Enforcement Agency number.
Duties: Prescribes psychotropic medications to FCS clients (emphasis
on adults with severe and persistent mental illness and children with severe
emotional disturbances) according to need and best practices. Assess
needs of individuals, monitor effects/progress and adjust medications as
needed. Provide clients with information about medications and other
available treatments; assist with obtaining medications through PAP's;
develop follow-up schedules. Provide crisis intervention and stabilization
when necessary. Manage medication inventory. Provide services
in both FCS offices (travel between Lander and Riverton will be required).
Some evening and weekend work may be required.
Salary: Commensurate with experience. Excellent benefit
