We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for an expanding department
to work 3 and 4 - 12 hour (rotating) shifts in a moderate size ER in NW
Arkansas. That's 3 on and 4 off, 4 on and 3 off, etc. Hours are 11A to
11P. Yes, this is a growing area in the most beautiful part of the state
with many amenities right at hand. Close to many lakes, rivers, resorts
and abundant recreational opportunities. Low crime, excellent schools (top
500 in the country), affordable housing, honest and friendly people..........just
a good place to sink down roots. Rather tame ER but need an NP with ED
experience. Will consider an NP previous ED experience as an RN. Now, for
the good part. We will pay $50/hr (for experience) plus full benefits and
a very generous sign-on/relocation allowance. May be able to coax a few
dollars more for someone heavy.

The Nurse Practitioner shall provide psychiatric assessment and care
to the patients of the Remuda Ranch Treatment Systems. These patients include
both adolescent and adult females. In addition to having an eating disorder,
these patients may have general psychiatric issues including substance
abuse, depression, anxiety and trauma. The Nurse Practitioner shall participate
in the development of the master treatment plan, and shall work with the
treatment team at Remuda. The Nurse Practitioner shall maintain medical
records in a complete, comprehensive and timely manner. The Nurse Practitioner
will be involved in Performance Improvement and peer review. At discharge,
the Nurse Practitioner will transfer care to a peer or to the staff at
the Remuda Life Program.
