EXPERIENCE THE EXCITEMENT OF WORKING WITH A DISTINGUSHED NATIONAL LEADER.  Excellent opportunities for Surgical ICU Physician Assistants to join our team of eight SICU physician assistants and four attending intensivists.  Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, invites PAs who are comfortable with a high level of clinical autonomy to be involved in the management of acutely ill surgical patients.  You will perform all ICU procedures including percutaneous tracheostomy, endoscopy, arterial line and central line insertion as well as bronchoscopy.  The position also entails assisting in the education of rotating house staff.  Experience is preferred.

This position offers competitive salary and benefits and a rotating schedule, comprising an average of 40 hours per week, including night and weekend in-house call. In order to qualify for this opportunity, you must be a graduate of ARC-PA accredited program, with certification/eligibility by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and state licensure.

General Surgical Physician Assistant –Davenport, Iowa
(New/Recent Graduates with a passion for surgery considered)

We are seeking a General Surgical Physician Assistant to join a well respected practice in Eastern Iowa. The Clinic Director would prefer a PA with some surgical background and training, but would certainly be willing to train a new / recent graduate with a passion for surgery. The Physician Assistant's primary role is to function as a Surgical PA, but will also have clinic and rounding responsibilities. The PA will work with a variety of surgical cases ranging from Orthopaedics, General, Vascular and C-Sections. There are two other PAs on staff and both providers will share call 1:3. There are 4 GSNs, 1 Orthopod, and 2 OB/Gyns. Compensation starts at $85,000 for a new graduate - $95,000+ (D.O.E.) plus an incentive bonus plan of 10% above $1,000, 27 days of PTO, 3 days paid CME, and a $2,000 CME allowance.
