We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to coordinate and organize the evaluation, intro-op and post operative care of patients for possible lung transplant candidates. The Provider will work with numerous physicians, organ transplant agencies, operating room, intensive care and emergency room staff, as well as the patients and their families. The qualified candidate will work cooperatively with physicians and other advanced practice professionals to provide specialized care for patients before, during and after lung transplant along the continuum of care of outpatient to inpatient 24 hours a day/7 days a week. They will also be responsible for coordinating the evaluation process, educating patients and families, assessing each patient, facilitating the scheduling of studies or procedures and many other duties as assigned. This position is demanding but financially rewarding with a $10,000 sign-on bonus and the base salary starts at $93,000$100,000+ (Depending Upon Experience) and $60 per hour on-call pay!
