Prestige and job satisfaction await a physician assistant willing to join the cardiac surgery program with the Hoffman Heart and Vascular Institute at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, a 617-bed tertiary hospital located in Hartford, Connecticut.

You will join a team of 10 physician assistants and 6 cardiac surgeons delivering comprehensive care across all aspects of pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative patient care.  As one of the largest cardiac surgery centers in New England, we perform over 800 cases per year.

The position offers flexible scheduling based on a 50 hour work week. A high level of clinical autonomy is expected.  In hospital night call and weekend rotations are required.  The ideal candidate will be NCCPA certified, hold a current Connecticut state license, and be ACLS certified. Two years of cardiovascular surgical or critical care experience is preferred, but a motivated new graduate will be considered.

General Surgical Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner – First Assist (Southern Colorado)—(New or Recent Graduates with a Surgical Background Considered)

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join a well respected general surgical practice. The Provider would be responsible for working in the clinic, assisting the surgeon in surgery and rounding in-house. The clinic hours are Mon-Fri 8:30 am-5:00pm with an estimated volume of 20 patients per day. The Surgical Provider would work up H&Ps, order lab tests, prescribe medication, help with surgical dressings, assist the surgeon in surgery (first assist-laparoscopic experience a plus), as well as handle the preoperative and post-operative care. Excellent compensation package negotiable for the right candidate but the salary range would be from $85,000-$110,000+ (Depending Upon Experience).
