PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Bassett Medical Center, a multi-specialty, rural academic medical center based in Central NY, is seeking a Manager, Physician Assistant for their Employee Health Unit.  Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, Compensation & Benefits, this position coordinate's pre-employment screenings, mandatory testing, such as annual PPD, fitness-for-duty exams, restricted duty exams and respiratory fit testing program. In addition the Manager, Employee Health, in cooperation with the supervising physician is also responsible for providing and ensuring that employees are offered general care for common illnesses, sick call, first aid, treatment of injuries, immunizations and vaccinations. The Manager Employee Health coordinates projects that have Employee Health implications by working with other operational areas of the Human Resource Division and/or with other departments throughout the organization. This position is responsible for Employee Health policy, procedure, processes and practice and must ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. 

The candidate must possess licensure as a Physician Assistant.  Three to five years experience as a Physician Assistant or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Specialty in Employee Health, or experience as an Employee Health PA preferred. Supervisory experience preferred. Knowledge of current Federal and State regulations regarding employee health and safety; knowledge of regulations related to Workers' Compensation, ADA, blood borne pathogen standard and familiarity with related hospital policies and procedures preferred.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (FNP, ANP, ACNP) for an Internal Medicine practice in Montana. Will consider experienced providers or strong new graduates with previous healthcare experience. Schedule will be M-F, 9a – 5p. No weekends and no call.
