We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) for a psychiatric position on the coast of Massachusetts. Will consider an experienced provider only. No new graduates. Practice will be about half inpatient and half outpatient. Moderate patient volume. Schedule will be 8a – 5p, M-F. No weekends, no call. High autonomy.  Excellent full-time opportunities exist for experienced Neurosurgery Physician Assistants to join our team. You will perform diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive patient care including taking patient histories and performing exams; updating medical charts; ordering tests; and reviewing results for differentiating between normal and abnormal findings. In addition, you will formulate individualized care plans, and prescribe in-patient and discharge medications.

 The candidate we seek will have a bachelor's degree, current NYS PA license and at least 2 years of Neurosurgery and/or Critical Care experience. National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Board Certification, along with ALS, PALS, NRP Provider and NALS certifications are required. Previous experience as a physician assistant or physician assistant fellowship experience in neurosurgery is preferred.

 The Neurosurgery Service is in need of 24-hour coverage, ideal candidates will work rotating day and night 12-hr shifts (6am-6pm/6pm-6am), with occasional weekend rotations, although candidates with Neurosurgery experience with availability that differs from this are still welcome to apply, as there is some amount of flexibility regarding the schedule. First-assist and OR duties are entailed for Neurosurgery.

Needed: Experienced PA's to work with our military!

PA's with at least 2 years of full time experience are needed to work with active duty military members at the San Antonio Military Medical Center, in Fort Sam Houston, Texas. PA's should have experience conducting in-depth histories and performing physical exams for all age groups. Candidates should also be licensed in any US state and have a current BLS and ACLS card.

PA's will be assigned to work under the Department of Anesthesia, and will work closely with patients undergoing Anesthesia services and procedures, including obtaining histories and physicals, ensuring proper preoperative testing is complete, obtaining consents, and consulting with Anesthesia providers.

Candidates must be available to work shifts any day or time, but most work hours will be Monday through Friday. Providers will work an average of 45 hours per week.

Rhode Island Hospital currently has Physician Assistant opportunities available in our Orthopedics, Urology and Plastic Surgery departments.  General duties include a number of medical procedures, including pre intra and post-operative management of patients, assistance with surgical procedures, wound care, and others.  Writes admission, pre-operative and post-operative orders for patient care.   Physician Assistants will work in Emergency Department as well as outpatient clinics and inpatient units.

All positions require:
