EXPERIENCE THE EXCITEMENT OF WORKING WITH A DISTINGUSHED NATIONAL LEADER.  Excellent opportunity for a Surgical ICU Physician Assistant to join our team of eight SICU physician assistants and five attending intensivists.  Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, invites PAs who are comfortable with a high level of clinical autonomy to be involved in the management of acutely ill surgical patients.  You will perform all ICU procedures including percutaneous tracheostomy, endoscopy, arterial line and central line insertion as well as bronchoscopy.  The position also entails assisting in the education of rotating house staff.  Experience is preferred.

This position offers competitive salary and benefits and a rotating schedule, comprising an average of 50 hours per week, including night and weekend in-house call. In order to qualify for this opportunity, you must be a graduate of ARC-PA accredited program, with certification/eligibility by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and state licensure.

The new APP opportunities include Hospitalist and CHF Service APP positions:

The Medicine Hospitalist APP Service will work with the Academic Inpatient Medical Service (AIMS), and admits and covers general medical admissions with floor coverage in evening and nights.

The 24/7 Congestive Heart Failure Service will admit, round, and discharge all patients with the heart failure. Saint Francis has a dedicated CHF Unit and offers innovative therapies including infusions, invasive monitoring and becoming a Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) center. The Service will expand on APRN and Cardiology Fellow coverage for both in- and out-patients. There will be a strong teaching focus, and the Service will cover 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

We offer a competitive salary. ACLS certification is required.  2+ years of experience is preferred, but highly motivated new graduates will be considered.

Main Street Family Care is a 5-physician family practice located on the campus of Phoenixville Hospital. The group also has 2 mid-level providers and an excellent support staff. They are part of Penn Medicine's community-based primary care network - Clinical Care Associates (CCA). Philadelphia University’s Physician Assistant Studies Program is seeking an organized, energetic physician assistant for the position of Assistant Clinical Coordinator. This unique position is a hybrid – approximately half of the time will be spent in the didactic (classroom phase) of the program and the other half will be spent on the clinical rotation phase. Responsibilities include assisting the Clinical Coordinator with clinical site development, student assignments, coordination of clinical faculty, student site visitation, interfacing with clinical preceptors, student advising, and general supervision of the learning experience at clinical sites. This position will work closely with the Clinical Coordinator and administrative staff, as well as our entire faculty team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their lecturing expertise as well as assist with the administrative functions of the clinical education program.  This full-time, 12-month faculty position also offers a clinical practice day each week.

Applicants must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited PA Program, have NCCPA certification, and have the minimum of a Master’s of Science degree. The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills. They will also possess a strong knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software. Experience with the E*Value data management system is desirable. Previous experience as a faculty member is desirable; experience as an assistant/associate clinical coordinator or clinical coordinator is highly preferred.

Travel is required (most travel is local, but there is some travel to distant sites); the successful candidate must have a driver's license and car.
