Physician Assistant / Associate  for Wound Healing: 
New York

This PA will be part of a closely linked physician/PA team that provides inpatient consults, outpatient clinical services, and (to a limited degree) nursing home consults for patients with chronic wounds. The majority of the PA's time will be spent in the inpatient units doing wound consults and debridements.

Experience with wound healing services and/or good soft tissue procedural skills are a plus. It is crucial that this be a team player who works well within the team, interfaces well with a large variety of colleagues, and enjoys caring for chronically ill, disabled patients and their families. We are working for someone who is energetic, able to work independently, enjoys coming up with new ideas, and is enthusiastic about participating in this growing service.

In terms of minimum requirements, I think that to be successful in this position the candidate would need a minimum of 2 years' experience including substantial experience in an inpatient setting.  It is Monday-Friday, 9-5.
